Sprious is seeking a skilled, self-motivated, and passionate Administration and HR Manager to provide strategic oversight and work with contractors on our People & Admin staff.

As you’ll note, we aim to be as clear and transparent about what we need, and we hope you will be excited about the potential challenges you may help us solve. Your role will involve a mix of HR and Admin duties - about 50% each. We are looking for someone with a personality type who enjoys organizing a lot of different work processes and hundreds of to-dos in a given month and keeping it all moving forward according to a deadline. Example Administrative Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinating invoice payments with the finance team and improving overall efficiency in vendor payments.

  2. An example project underway is one where we are cleaning up hundreds of email accounts across our organization, streamlining them into better groups to increase efficiency and lower our email costs.

  3. Improving process improvements, such as: invoice payment and recording, signing legal documents and storing, receiving our digital mail and processing it to the right people, and streamlining data retention policies.

  4. Access management: helping others with access to various accounts, and streamlining account access for efficiency.

Example HR Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Updating our handbook.

  2. Improve onboarding and offboarding processes to be more streamlined and efficient.

  3. Improving our company training for new and existing team members.

  4. Coordinating culture activities such as monthly All Hands Meetings, team member birthday gifts, culture swag, and more.

  5. Reviewing company benefits and suggesting improvements.

  6. Manage the recruitment process, including updating job descriptions, posting roles, scheduling interviews, and facilitating debriefs.

  7. Coordinate performance and compensation management with senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of administration and/or HR experience, with 1+ years in people management.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience building project plans, preferably in Asana

Capability to optimize procedures and establish effective operational workflows:

  • Experience in full-cycle recruitment, including posting a job, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead a team and work autonomously
